NOTE: Please make sure that you are using the Google Chrome Browser to host and join Mastermind live sessions. Firefox is not supported, and other browsers do not provide an optimal experience.
With the MacOS Catalina update, Apple introduced some security measures that affect screensharing.
If you are receiving an error message that screensharing has failed and you are on a Mac, please review the steps in this article.
1. Open System Preferences
2. Go to Security & Privacy
3. Complete the following steps:
Click on the Privacy tab
Click the Lock on the bottom left and enter your password to allow changes
Click on Screen Recording on the menu on the left
Make sure that the box next to Google Chrome is checked
4. Click Quit Now
You will need to restart Google Chrome and rejoin the Mastermind Session.
After completing these steps you will be able to share your screen in your Live Mastermind Session.
